For this project, we were commissioned to revitalize a traditional semi-detached house (Doppelhaushälfte) through a digital-first approach. Our workflow began by redrawing the legacy plans in ArchiCAD to establish accurate 2D and 3D BIM foundations. We then completely reimagined the interior and exterior layouts, focusing on maximizing natural light and modern open-plan living while respecting the original structure's architectural constraints.
To bridge the gap between design and reality, we produced a fully immersive interactive walkthrough animation using Unreal Engine 5. This presentation allowed the client to virtually step into their future home, exploring spatial volumes and testing different material finishes in real-time. By providing this interactive platform, we empowered the client to make informed design decisions with absolute confidence, ensuring the final renovation perfectly aligned with their lifestyle and aesthetic vision.
This project was developed as a groundbreaking virtual reality platform specifically designed to support therapeutic sessions for veterans in the USA. The objective was to move beyond clinical office settings and provide an alternative, highly immersive environment that enhances patient engagement and focus during psychotherapy. Utilizing the latest VR development tools, we created a visually stimulating, sci-fi inspired space that offers a neutral yet engaging backdrop for sensitive counseling sessions.
Fully compatible with Oculus Quest headsets, the platform enables psychiatrists to conduct therapy remotely while the patient is immersed in a calming, futuristic environment. This approach prioritizes privacy, comfort, and individualized care, creating new possibilities for veterans coping with PTSD. By merging architectural creativity with therapeutic clinical goals, the "VR – Space Room" represents a bold step forward in digital health care, illustrating how immersive technology can provide accessible and effective support for mental wellness.
